Sightseeing in Barcelona
Most of the museums offer more than just the presentation of various Kunstojekte. Whether souvenirs in the museum shop can be bought, in the cafeteria spend a break or simply enjoy a magnificent view.
Information on opening times of the museums: Some museums are closed Sunday afternoon and Monday. If the Monday is a public holiday, but is mostly open. Nearly all museums are closed on 25/26 December, on 1 and 6 January.
Information on admission prices: Many offer free admission on 18 May (International Day of the museum) and 24 September (Catalan National Day). Some museums in Barcelona are also on certain days of the month (1st Sunday of the month) free. Detailed information, please refer to the appropriate museum site.

Tips for the museum visit in Barcelona
Opening times
Most of the museums - but not all - are closed on Mondays (refer to the opening times of the respective Museum pages). If Monday is a holiday, it is then opened on Monday.
Reduced admission
For children, pensioners and the disabled. For Students usually only up to a certain age limits.
Free admission
Many museums offer an afternoon in the month (the first or the last Sunday of the month) with free admission. It is then, however, usually very crowded.
With the Barcelona Card you have free admission to many museums (partially without queuing) and reduced admission. There are also the Articket Barcelona with free entrance to six important museums.
