Baguette with tomato and serrano ham - A tapas classic and ideal as a snack
You can actually eat Baguette with Serrano ham at any time. You should not make too many of them for a tapas buffet; otherwise your guests will already be full.
Ingredients for four servings
- 2 baguettes (eight slices)
- 8 slices of Serrano ham
- 4 tomatoes
- 8 tsp olive oil
- up to 4 garlic cloves
Preparation
Wash and halve the tomatoes.
Cut the baguette into slices and toast lightly with a toaster, the toast should not be brown.
Rub the tomato halves onto the toast slices, so that the flesh has rubbed into the toast.
Drizzle a little oil on the slices and top with the ham.
Tips and variations
You can also rub half a clove of garlic onto the bread before you rub the tomato on the bread.
